Several Lakers took part in the United Way of Logan County 2023 Campaign Awards!
IL Superintendent Dr. Rob Underwood, acting as United Way Board President, presented the Gold Awards during the recent breakfast to honor this year's most generous donors and announce the campaign total. In addition, ILHS senior Amelia Schmiedebusch and ILHS/OHP senior Tyler Michael explained the impact that serving on the United Way Youth Allocations Committee for the past two years has had on their lives.
UW Director Dave Bezusko announced that the 2023 campaign did reach and exceed the goal of one million dollars, bringing in $1,050,000. Congratulations to the staff at Indian Lake Schools for donating more than $19,000 and earning a silver award.
