Students entering the 7th grade are required to have at least one dose of the meningococcal immunization and one Tdap vaccine prior to school entry.
Students entering the 12th grade must have a second dose of the meningococcal vaccine, with a minimum interval of 8 weeks between the 2 shots, prior to school starting. (If the first dose of meningococcal vaccine was administered after the 16th birthday, a second dose is not required.)
