Clary was a force on the field for the Lakers for four years. He earned CBC 1st Team, 2nd Team, and Honorable Mention over the course of his career. He was also named All District 2nd and 3rd Team during his junior and senior seasons.
Carson says, "I'm excited to continuing improving and learning as a player while pursuing my career goals."
Clary plans to study pre-physical therapy at Muskingum on his way to becoming a PT.

ILHS multi-sport standout Gavin Henry is taking his track talents to Muskingum University, as well. Gavin has been a force to be reckoned with as an athlete at Indian Lake, helping lead the football team to the State Final Four, earning an alternate spot to the OHSAA Wrestling Tournament and finally, setting the school record and qualifying for the State Track Meet in the 110 meter hurdles.
As a Laker, Henry earned First team CBC Defensive Back, 2nd team All District Defensive Back, Sectional Runner-up (Wrestling), First Team All Greater Miami Valley Wrestling, First Team CBC 110 hurdles and 300 hurdles, and was a State Qualifier for 110 hurdles.
He plans to continue his decorated hurdling career with the Muskies.
Gavin says, "The coaching staff were all very nice and genuine people. They also work well with Nursing, so I can go and study Nursing and run track without worrying."
Henry hopes to become an emergency Flight Nurse in the future.

ILHS Senior Alex Kinney is driving ahead to the University of Northwestern Ohio.
She plans to golf for the Racers after three years leading the Varsity Lady Lakers. Kinney earned First Team All CBC as a junior and senior and Honorable Mention as a sophomore. After knee surgery in the late fall, she is excited to get back on the links.

Maddie was sidelined her senior season, but shined for the Lakers as a junior. She won several tournaments and made a gritty run for a State Championship, falling in the final match to take Runner Up.
Miller was also a valuable member of the ILHS Track and Field Team, earning CBC First Team in discus and Honorable Mention in shot put.
Inspired by Indian Lake's Athletic Trainer Holly King, Miller plans to study physical therapy and hopefully become an Athletic Trainer at the collegiate level.

Pequignot helped lead the Lakers to four consecutive CBC Mens Basketball titles.
He is excited to extend his career in basketball close to home.
Avery says, "I'm grateful for the opportunity to play basketball longer and to become a better player."

All around Indian Lake athlete Annie Rapp is taking her skills down the road to Wittenberg University. She plans to be part of the Tiger Women's Wrestling Team. After two very successful seasons, for the Lakers, including making the podium at the State Wrestling meet, Rapp says it was an easy decision.
"I really enjoyed the coach and the campus was very pretty. It is also very close to home and I can go home whenever I need to," she explains.
Rapp has been a strong athlete at ILHS helping to lead the volleyball team to two CBC and Sectional titles, earning the first ever CBC Girls Wrestling Championship and being part of the softball program that won a number of sectional, district and regional titles along with finishing State Runner-Up in 2023.
Individually she earned Honorable Mention All CBC in Volleyball, Wrestling Sectional Champion, Third place at Wrestling Districts, Eighth Place at the OHSAA Girls State Wrestling Meet, along with First and Second Team CBC Softball.
Annie plans to study Exercise Science to eventually become an Athletic Trainer.

ILHS athlete Carly Strayer is poised to spread her wings at Muskingum University. She signed to become a part of the Muskie Women's Basketball Team.
She is excited to meet new teammates and make new memories in the game.
Carly explains, "The coaches and all of the faculty are very nice and care about you. It’s not too far from home, but close enough that I could come home whenever. It is also a very pretty campus and has a good program for what I want to study."
As a Laker, Carly has been a leader on the court since her freshman year. She earned CBC First Team in 2025 and 2026, District 9 Coaches’ Team 2025 and 2026, CBC Athlete of the Month, and a District Honorable Mention.
