ILHS Band Earns Music in the Parks Awards

The Indian Lake High School Symphonic Band won two prestigious awards during the recent Music In the Parks Competition in Hershey, Pennsylvania earlier this month. The band earned a Superior I rating and second place overall in the contest. The ILHS Band also earned the Esprit de Corps Award, presented to students from a school who demonstrated proper social behavior as well as musical behavior/encouragement. They possess the qualities of highly successful people who are sensitive to the feelings of others and applaud accomplishments no matter if by one's own school or another school.The Indian Lake High School Symphonic Band is 45 members strong and is directed by Mr. Jason Fauley with assistance from Mrs. Morissa Sweeney.
