Two sets of clubs at Indian Lake Schools blended recently for a cool and colorful class!
Members of the ILHS Science Club joined the First Grade Incentive Clubs for a Kaleidoscope project. The high school kids brought all the materials and led the workshop to make the toys in Mrs. Beres' room. They showed the kiddos how to add colorful beads and mirrors to the tubes to make unique and fun toys. They also explained how it works!
Students were able to sign up for the activity as part of Friday Clubs. There will be another session at a later date. The ILHS Science Club is part of the 21st Century Grant program at Indian Lake Schools known as Careers@ILS.
