Indian Lake staff members were introduced to what we're calling "The Lake Effect" during a recent professional development day.
Members of the administration team explained during an all-staff assembly that "The Lake Effect" is the combination of Positive Behavior Supports and Interventions, along with R-Factor training and Social-Emotional Learning avenues that the district is implementing.
High School Principal Kyle Wagner says in scientific terms, a lake effect means the way a large body of water influences the weather patterns in a larger area.  He hopes the Indian Lake Schools "Lake Effect" will help our staff and students become better versions of themselves.
The assembly also focused on putting all parts of the R-Factor into use and not getting stuck on "press pause."
Special thanks to Indian Lake High School senior Ethan Coppel for creating the design used for t-shirts and magnets handed out to help staff members remember these lessons.
