This is a reminder of the upcoming meeting of Tri-County Parents for High Potential (gifted parents) meeting Monday, February 11th, at the Amos Library in Sidney.  More information is below.  Please feel free to print the attachement and share it as well as to share it with your staff, parents, community -- anyone you feel would be interested.  We hope to see you there!

Purpose: We are so excited to share ideas, strategies, and events for enriching, enhancing, and accelerating gifted-identified students' development of their gifts, their social skills, and their potential!  

Plan (Meeting Agenda):

7:00-7:10         Welcome and introductions

7:10-7:30         Presentation/ Discussion: Gifted Underachievement

7:30-7:45         Parent Breakouts/ Regional Collaboration

7:45-8:00         Snacks and Conversation

 

This meeting will feature a discussion of gifted students’ patterns of underachievment as well as strategies for addressing students’ underachievement.  Breakout time at the end will provide for planning of enrichment and activities for parents from similar geographic areas. Light snacks will be served.
