The ILHS Student Council effort to purchase a new plaque for Memorial Lane continues.
Student Council advisor Mrs. Andrea Jacobs reports that the old name-plates placed by the trees are available for family members who would like to have them. Some of the plates have been damaged over the years by mowing equipment and weather, but many remain in good condition.
The ILHS Memorial Lane runs beside the student parking lot and includes a tree planted in memory of high school students who lost their lives during their time at Indian Lake High School.
Some name-plates have already been claimed.
