United Way Awards
It's not the Olympics, but Indian Lake Schools earned GOLD for the first time!!
District representatives were presented with a Gold Level Campaign Award during the recent United Way of Logan County recognition breakfast. Indian Lake School's campaign in the fall of 2021 raised over $21,000....the most ever for our district!! More than 60% of our staff members contributed, giving more money this year than ever before by nearly seven-thousand dollars! That generosity puts Indian Lake Schools at number 12 on the list of top giving work places!
The overall Logan County campaign brought in a record $1,069,007. The money raised goes to fund and support dozens of local agencies like the Outreach Centers in Russells Point and Chippewa, Meals on Wheels and the Dolly Parton Imagination Library that help Indian Lake area families. Awesome job, Lakers!!
Special thanks to Kathy Fulkerson, who coordinates Indian Lake's campaign and Superintendent Rob Underwood, who serves on the United Way of Logan County Board.
