As the school year winds down, Quest Federal Credit Union honored their Teachers of the Year from local school districts with a luncheon and awards ceremony.

The event was held recently at the Sloan Inn at the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, Quest Federal Credit Union CEO Matt Jennings led the ceremony.

ILMS sixth grade teacher Christina Fullerton is the Teacher of the Year from Indian Lake. She was nominated by her entire 6th grade class this year!

They wrote: “She turns all things that would be boring into fun! She is very nice and respectful in her classroom. And if you are disrespectful, she will not yell at you. Instead she will teach you what you did wrong.”

Mrs. Fullerton says she is humbled by the award, “It was unexpected, but really heartwarming that my kiddos thought so much of me to come together and nominate me as a class…They wrote some really wonderful things about me!

Other teachers recognized included Bellefontaine’s Jeanie Tipple, Molly Johns from Ben Logan, Danae Dray from Calvary Christian, Jason Robinson from Ohio Hi Point Career Center and Riverside’s Jack Switzer.

Fullerton’s husband and administrative team accompanied her to the luncheon. She received a glass trophy and gift certificate.

Special thanks to Quest Federal Credit Union for honoring our educators!!
