The ILHS Student Council loaded up tons of donations and delivered them to local food banks ahead of Thanksgiving!
Students all across the district have been bringing in canned goods and other non-perishable items for the past week. They packed up all the collections from ILES, ILMS and ILHS and took them to the St. Vincent De Paul Food Bank in Russells Point and the Food Pantry at the Russells Point Municipal Building. Way to give, Lakers!
**The IL Holiday Food Drive is extended through Monday, November 24th!!**
As we approach the season of giving, Indian Lake Schools will be participating in our annual All District Holiday Food Drive to support local food pantries and help families in need within our community. The collection will take place from November 17th–21st.
We know that times are tough for many right now, and we completely understand that not everyone may be able to contribute. If your family is in a position to donate, any non-perishable food items—such as canned goods, boxed meals, or pantry staples—would be greatly appreciated. Every little bit helps and goes a long way toward making someone’s holiday brighter.
Thank you for your kindness and support as we work together, across all our schools, to make a difference for others this Thanksgiving season!
All donations will be taken to the St. Vincent De Paul Food Bank in Russells Point and the Food Pantry at the Russells Point Municipal Building.
