2022 Spring Band Concert

Every level of Indian Lake instrumental music was celebrated during the recent 2022 Spring All Bands Concert.
The 5th Grade Band started off the show, followed by the 6th Grade Band. Both are directed by Morissa Sweeney. Then the 7/8th Grade ILMS Band took the stage, followed by the ILHS Jazz Band and ILHS Symphonic Band directed by Jason Fauley. 
Mr. Fauley recognized the seniors in the band who have been so dedicated to the IL Music program. They are: Angelina Arthur, Dylan Carter, Cheyenne Hill, Ethan Knief, Dylan Pippin, Dakota Stude, Trenton Stringfellow, Kelsi Ullom and Rachel Wahl. 
Indian Lake Music Boosters President April King capped off the evening by presenting the Volunteers of the Decade Award to long-time band parents Kyle and Hillary Knief. They were attending their youngest son's final band concert, after supporting the band family for more than ten years. The Kniefs have served as music booster officers, helped with the concession stand and supported anything and everything to do with the band. 
The finale of the concert featured the 7/8 Grade ILMS Band joining the ILHS Symphonic Band for a song and then the entire group of 5-12 grade musicians teaming up for "Hang on Sloopy."
