2024 Holiday Band Concert

The 2024 Holiday Band Concert completed a Santa Claus saga and delighted us with new and traditional Christmas selections! The 6th Grade Band (directed by Morissa Sweeney), the 7/8th Grade ILMS Band, the ILHS Jazz Band and the ILHS Symphonic Band (directed by Jason Fauley) all performed holiday medleys and classics at the recent event. We will be sharing many of those with you throughout the season.
In 2022, the 6th Grade Band began a series of songs called "Santa the Barbarian." Their first installment is listed below. During the 2024 concert, the ILHS Symphonic Band completed the holiday saga with "Santa the Barbarian: Snowpocalypse." This fun series includes some narration about Santa's efforts to make the world winter year-round. You can hear the finale below.
