As is tradition, Lakers were pouring pancakes in the parking lot on this First Day of School 2023-24! Seniors served breakfast and bundled together for some chilly first day memories before heading into class.
Students at ILMS got off the bus and got some last minute instructions before making their way to their lockers and homerooms.
Finally, students at the elementary school were greeted by staff members with smiles and open arms. During the day they got organized in classes and attended a few meetings.

ILES Kindergarten students with last names beginning with A-K will report to their first day on Tuesday, September 5, while those with last names L-Z will come on Wednesday, September 6. The IL Preschool begins on Tuesday, September 5th and is not in session on Fridays.
