Veteran Indian Lake High School teacher Doug Reprogle is one of Quest Federal Credit Union's first ever Teachers of the Year! ILHS teacher Ed Rogers spearheaded the effort to bring back Teacher of the Year Awards when another organization discontinued the program after more than 30 years of recognizing the profession. Quest Federal Credit Union CEO Matt Jennings says they were happy to pick up mantle when Rogers suggested the idea. Rogers serves on a credit union citizens advisory committee. He was pleased to be able to present an inaugural award to his friend and ILHS top floor teaching colleague. Doug Reprogle is finishing his 31st year of teaching social studies at Indian Lake. He is a proud Laker who tries to make a impact with every student using real world scenarios and advice. Several former students nominated Mr. Reprogle for the award. Also selected as Teachers of the Year were Tara Gastineau form Bellefontaine High School, Spencer Reames from Ben Logan, Ryan Gilbert from Ohio Hi Point and Christina Mann from Riverside Schools.
