Indian Lake Schools received a generous donation for student meals just before the lunch bell recently.
Local radio station WRPO of Russells Point and their underwriters presented IL Superintendent Dr. Rob Underwood with a check for $2,375.
When a student, who is not on free or reduced lunch, forgets meal money or depletes his or her account, the donated money will be used to cover the cost of a regular meal. The donation will cover the cost of an estimated 452 lunches!

The IL Board of Education will officially accept the donation at their December meeting Tuesday evening.
