The Indian Lake Athletic Boosters and IL Athletic Director Jeff Courter recently presented long-time Laker supporter Robin Jenkins an award on behalf of the Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity Committee of the Ohio High School Athletic Association. Robin has served as a member and officer of the Indian Lake Athletic Boosters for 25 years. Her efforts over many years helped to buy uniforms, purchase equipment and support our student-athletes in countless ways. Not to mention the thousands of people she helped feed at the concession stand!! THANK YOU!!
The OHSAA award is for a person or persons in the community who exemplifies good sportsmanship, one who is a positive role model for others, a person who reflects a high level of ethics and integrity in dealings with students and the interscholastic athletic program, one who supports and demonstrates positive values, and a person who has contributed to the well-being of the youth of the local high school.
