Congratulations to Coach Coburn and the Indian Lake Laker Football Team on another historic season! The Lakers earned back to back CBC Mad River Division Titles and playoff appearances. No other Indian Lake football team has ever played in a game 12 or earned a record of 11-1. The Lakers fell to the Ottawa Glandorf in a down-to-the-wire Game 2 playoff match-up. The final score was 33-28. Thank you to the staff, students, parents and community for your unwavering support of our athletes. Thank you for the meals, the decorations, the signs, the send-offs and words of encouragement. The stands at IL Stadium were packed for every home game and Harmon Stadium in Wapak was full of Laker fans. To the players, there are former IL football players in the stands and listening at home who could only dream of the success you've achieved. You make us all Proud to be Lakers! And as Coach Coburn said in his final speech on the field this season, "You put on us on the map, not because of a lake, but for football!"
