The Indian Lake Marching Band recently offered a warm musical welcome to Honda Transmission Manufacturing visitors from all over the world!
The Pride of Indian Lake played their pre-game and half-time music as buses full of Honda associates unloaded at HTM to attend the what's called the annual North American Bloc. The music pumped up the participants and they took lots of pictures and videos. The band also performed the Laker Fight song and other crowd favorites as HTM associates lined the parking lot to welcome the convoy of visitors. Finally, the band played the National Anthem to kick off the convention.
More than 250 associates from Honda facilities across North America and international locations gather each year to present process improvement projects. Associates compete for a chance to attend the event, which this year includes tours of HTM, project presentations and other activities in Columbus. This is the first time Honda Transmission Manufacturing in Russells Point has hosted the North American Bloc and Indian Lake Schools are proud to play role in this important event!
