The Indian Lake community celebrated their love of the Lakers with a Homecoming Community Parade and Pep Rally in Russells Point recently.

The theme was “Getting Back to Work, Work Over the Hillclimbers!” More than 30 floats honored essential workers and careers including fire and ems, medical workers, construction workers, educators, members of the military and more.
Each high school grade level had a special float for their class attendant and several sports teams and staff groups had floats as well.

Homecoming Queen Ella Shoffstall rode in a sports car driven by her grandfather with escorts Elle Fullerton and Reid Cascioli.

The Indian Lake Cheerleaders led a Pep Rally after the parade in the McDonalds overflow parking lot.

Indian Lake Schools then hosted the Homecoming Game on Friday, October 1st. Queen Ella Shoffstall was crowned after the full Court was introduced on the field. The Lakers won the game 38-21 over the Urbana Hillclimbers.
Congratulations to Queen Ella Shoffstall, Senior Attendant Kaitlyn Boberg, Junior Grace Pequignot, Sophomore Kaitlyn Shaner and Freshman Mackenzie Dixon!
The Homecoming Dance was held Saturday evening in the ILHS Auxiliary Gym. More than 300 Lakers danced the night away!
