Indian Lake parents and community,

We are excited to get back on campus for the 2021-22 school year! We are optimistic that this year will be much more normal than last year or the year before. Over the summer we have worked with local health officials to develop common sense procedures for heading back to school. Here’s what you need to know:

-Masks/facial coverings are recommended, but not required for students and staff while at school. We believe wearing a mask is a personal choice best left for families to decide.

-Vaccines are recommended, but not required, for students and staff. Again, we believe taking the vaccine is a personal choice best determined by families.

-If your child starts to have any symptoms while at school, we ask that they wear a mask and maintain social distancing until they can leave school.

-We ask for your continued help in keeping students at home if they are ill.

-If someone at school tests positive for Covid-19, masks will be highly recommended, but not required, for anyone who was in direct contact with the person.

-Campus will be open to visitors who are not feeling ill. If you are exhibiting any symptoms of Covid-19, please do not come to campus for any reason.

-There will be no limits for athletic or music events apart from the normal seating capacity.

-The district will continue to use best practices for hand washing, social distancing, sanitizing and air quality.

-The Logan County Health Districtmay require masks at some point if rates of infection reach a certain level locally.

Please understand that we cannot control any state or national mandates that may develop concerning Covid-19. Nor, as a public entity, can we openly violate any mandates that may arise. We will continue to work with the Logan County Health District as needed.  We appreciate your continued support of Indian Lake Schools and we look forward to a successful 2021-22 school year!
