The Indian Lake History Center is taking shape this winter!
The new sign is up and so is the online link to see all the composites and other content. Check it out here

or under the Board of Education tab on the school website, ils-k12.org.
All of the yearbooks that we borrowed from Laker alumni have been returned, so we will be working to get those back to you as soon as possible. The yearbooks have been scanned and they are being loaded one at a time.
Meantime, all the class composites up to 2009 are loaded. Check out some of the classes from Huntsville, Lakeview and Lewistown dating back to the 1800s!

History Center Coming soon...the Indian Lake Local Schools History Center!!

Construction is happening now on the Digital Composite project at ILHS. The touchscreen unit is housed in the large trophy case just outside the Main Gym and Auditorium. At this time, you can access a small portion of the composites, academic achievements, athletic records and other archives from our district's past. We will be working hard over the next few weeks to add content, including the class composites, yearbooks and much more! In addition, we will update the look of the entire case to reflect our proud Laker history.

**Thank you to everyone out there who contacted us! We were able to locate all the yearbooks and they have been sent off to be scanned!**

Attention Lakers and Laker alumni!!!
We are moving ahead with our Digital Composite Project and we need your help. As part of the project, we are also working to have every ILHS yearbook scanned and digitally displayed.
Unfortunately, we are missing a few yearbooks!

We are looking for these years:
1963, 1965, 1967, 1972, 1973, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1979, 1990, and 1995
If you have any of these books and are willing to part with them for a short time, we would really appreciate it!
Please email [email protected] with your name, number and yearbook and we will be in touch. Thanks in advance!!

We are running out of wall space!

Indian Lake High School is considering alternative ways to display the large graduation class composite photos. We have researched options and would like to add a touch-screen wall unit as part of the trophy case outside of the ILHS Main Gym near the auditorium. (see picture for example) This wall unit would digitally display class composites from all of Indian Lake School's history.  The interactive unit, with searchable database, is also capable of displaying athletic records, valedictorians, yearbooks, school and community history and much more.  The possibilities are endless!  There would even be an online component on the school website, as well.  Learn more about the product here vitalsignswalloffame.com.

As alumni, we value your opinion! Would this type of display serve as a fitting tribute to our graduates and treasured IL school history? If so, are any alumni groups willing to support this project monetarily?  The complete system is around $12,000.  Although the district has some funding for the project, more support is needed to move forward.

Please let us know your thoughts! If your class is interested in donating, please contact Superintendent Rob Underwood at [email protected]
