This message is for all seniors and their parents.  Tomorrow, Wednesday, May 13 when you come to the school between 9-2 you will receive detailed information about graduation.  You will also be receiving one parking pass for you and your family.  We recommend that you bring only one car to graduation, but for those who might be from a split family you may request one additional parking pass.  If you need an additional parking pass please contact the office with your reasoning as to why you will need an additional pass.  You will not be able to get into the parking lot for graduation without a parking pass.  If you have any questions please contact the school office.  Please be sure to come between 9-2 to the front entrance.

We now have a plan in place for ILHS Graduation Ceremonies on Sunday, May 17th at 2 pm. Please watch the message from Indian Lake Superintendent Rob Underwood. You will also be receiving more specific instructions later this week and during the Senior Drop Off Day on May 13th.

The following is a message from Mr. Wagner sent to seniors on Friday, May 8th

Hello this is Mr. Wagner Principal at Indian Lake High School; it is Friday, May 8
th.  This message is for all seniors and their parents.  Wednesday, May 13th is an important day.  Anytime between 9AM – 2PM seniors must arrive at the main entrance of the high school.  This will be an opportunity for you to drop off anything that needs returned to the high school such as library books, textbooks, or to pay your fees. You will also pick up detailed information regarding graduation as well as your parking pass to be able to get your car into graduation.  You will also be able to pick up anything you left in your locker as well as any awards or scholarships you might have received.  Please plan on driving up to the main entrance of the high school on Wednesday, May 13 between 9AM – 2PM.  Please be patient if there is a line of cars in front of you.  We ask that you stay in your car at all times, as staff will greet you to assist in the drop off and delivery of items.  If you have any questions please contact the office before May 13.  Thanks and Be Safe!

The following is an email sent to all ILHS Seniors on Friday, April 24, 2020:

Seniors,
Please read entirely as this is quite long, but includes many details and information for all seniors.
It is Friday, April 24 and we are on Plan J for graduation.  As guidance continues to change from the Ohio Department of Education and the Governor we are doing everything we can to plan a ceremony that recognizes all of you in a respectful manner.  We also want to be sure to follow all safety guidelines and do our best to ensure everyone's safety.  We do not want a ceremony to be the reason dozens of people get sick and/or die due to contracting the virus by coming into contact with someone during our event.  As soon as we have a safe plan I will share the details with all of you.  One thing I do know is I am making it my #1 priority to make sure all of you have the opportunity to walk across a stage.
Grades - You will not graduate/receive a diploma May 17 if you do not have passing grades.  You must have at least 60% on your YTD grade in order to earn the credit.  We will be calling all seniors who are in danger of failing a course and ultimately in danger of not earning a diploma.
Fees - I sent a one call to all who still owe fees.  All fees must be paid in full in order to participate in whatever type of ceremony we have.  You can mail a check to the high school.
Scholarship Night and Awards - The plan for both of these events is to put together a video and then share the video on social media.
Cap/Gown - if you plan to participate in whatever type of ceremony we hold for graduation and you still need a cap and gown you need to contact Mrs. Beale at email [email protected] or phone 937-686-8851.

Sincerely,
Mr. Wagner

We know many of you are really concerned about graduation and we are, too!

ILHS Principal Kyle Wagner and Assistant Principal Dave Coburn emailed this letter to all the Indian Lake seniors recently. The Class of 2020 deserves this momentous day. Please read the following.
