FFA Convention
Four Indian Lake graduates received the highest honor in FFA during the annual National Convention in Indianapolis.

Recent ILHS graduates Allix Cotterman, Kayla Cummins, Jacob King and Ethan Knief walked across the stage to officially receive their National FFA Degree.
Each of these Laker alumni and former Indian Lake/OHP FFA officers is now studying a form of agriculture or working in the local ag industry. To be eligible to receive the American FFA Degree, members must meet qualifications such as receiving a State FFA Degree, holding active membership for the past three years, completing secondary instruction in an agricultural education program and operating an outstanding supervised agricultural experience program. Community service, leadership abilities and outstanding scholastic achievement are also required. Congratulations on this achievement!
In addition, 19 current ILHS/OHP FFA students and advisor Kelsey King made the trip to the 2023 FFA National Convention. They attended the
Opening and General Session, watched the Keynote speaker presentations, made new friends and strengthened bonds, checked out the Expo Mall and Career Show, and took the Lincoln Tech Indianapolis tour. They also attended the Wright State Lake Campus Agroscience Fair and toured Crown Equipment on the way.
